Certified Organic Raw Materials and Manufacturing

Synergy Production Laboratories™ (SPL) has offered certified organic raw materials and has manufactured certified organic products since its inception. We guarantee that the raw materials and finished products that we label "organic" are certified organic. Our third-party certifying agency, Quality Assurance International (QAI), is at the forefront of the organic certification movement in the United States and internationally. QAI is authorized to inspect any of SPL's ingredients or products and is registered as a certifier with the National Organic Program. QAI is ISO 65 accredited and certified by Germany's Verein zur Begutachtung von Prüfstellen (VBP) to meet the requirements of document EN 45011/ISO 65. VBP is a European control body regulating the operation of certifying agencies. This certification allows for easier exports to the European Union. Many of SPL's Synergized^® raw materials are certified organic to European Union standards.

SPL's management policies and production processes are in strict accordance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and with the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA's) requirements for certified organic manufacturing. Organic ingredients are separated from conventional ingredients at all times. Our well-trained staff and computerized tracking system ensure this separation throughout the manufacturing process. Growers, manufacturers and distributors of the organic raw materials we use must provide SPL with a certificate from a recognized certifier to prove the authenticity of the organic material. Only biodegradable detergents and sanitizers accepted for use with certified organic productions are used within the facility.

Kosher-Parve Certification

SPL's Synergized^® raw materials are designated Kosher-Parve by Kosher Overseers Associates of America. SPL is also certified to produce numerous kosher brands and products. Our kosher status is another indication of our dedication to quality.

Good Manufacturing Practices

All products and processes at SPL comply with the U.S. FDA's GMPs for manufacturers of dietary supplements, as specified in the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR 110). Our production facility is registered as an over-the-counter (OTC) facility with the FDA (registration number 1724629).
